do a lot of your non-scene/emo friends try to act like they are around you.
its been really annoying me on how a lot of my friends seem like they are trying way too hard to act like they are emo/scene around me, like just today one of my friends says to me "im going to get yellow converse's for school cause they are mad scene", and if i tell my friends i like something , they have to go out and get it.
is that just annoying to hear, i never say im going to buy something just for its "sceneness"(is that a word?).
point is , do you have friends that do this?

Um, not what he was talking about kittens.
And as for the question about friends...No, because we have our own style.

yes, one of my friends does that... she acts like she's sad all the time even if she's not just so that ppl call her "emo" cus round here i'm the only person who says scene... they're all idiots though.

haha i have this one friend who does that. not just wearing similar clothes, but also fb profile pics that sorta thing. and sometimes i notice this pattern - such as if i wear something one day and she has something that looks similar in her own wardrobe, she'll definitely wear it the next day. it's kind of sad really. :/ proves that she ain't got her own style.

All my friends luckily have their own style xD
I can understand it's annoying as hell, but it only means they think you look awesome... : )

Fortunately, not at all. My friends are a collection of different stereotypes in one circle of trust. (haha. so corny)
We're all so different that we don't need to be like any other person other than ourselves. It's very refreshing.

None of the ideas expressed above are actually mine. They are told to me by Luthor and Ferdinand, the five inch tall space aliens who live under my desk. In return for these ideas, I have given them permission to eat any dust bunnies they may find under there.

LIKE ME, my friends don't try to act like a specific stereotype, because we arn't confined to that. They dress like hippies, hardcore kids, bums, emo kids, whatever, but it's not like they are expected to act that way, much like Im not expected to act like a scene kid or whatever :/
