Xenomorphs Quick HTML Guide (Signatures/Avatars Etc)

To Upload a GIF (Animated clip like my signature) AND/OR JPEG (Still Picture).

First you need upload the picture or GIF to a site like Http://www.photobucket.com I use photobucket because it's fast and you can upload pictures quickly (As well as edit them). Once you have uploaded the GIF or Image you will notice four 'bars' of text. These are the basic text that you will post into your signature image.

An 'Http' link is a direct link to the picture, it will appear as clickable text. The HTML code (A href) is for sites like myspace and is similar to the IMG code. The IMG code is the one needed for this site, and many others. Post the whole IMG link into your signature. (Located in 'Edit my profile' and under 'Personal Information'.

Review:

1. Upload picture/animated clip onto a site like Photobucket.
2. Copy the IMG text and place into signature.
3. Enjoy

Decreasing Image size:

There are a couple ways to do this, but I find that the easiest for me is through MS paint. (Note if you own a mac this won't work)

First, go into MS paint.(It might be just 'paint' and it should be in accessories or something)

Click 'file' in the top left of the program and select 'open'. Search for where you saved your Picture. Make sure you know the name of it and where you saved it!

Once you've found it, open it and it should appear on MS Paint (If not it might be a wrong file type).

Next go into 'Image' and 'Strech/Skew'

Don't worry about the 'skew' only look at the 'strech' part. It should say '100' for horizontal (the sides) and Vertical (the top and bottom).

To decrease your image size, simply decrease the number.

For instance:

If you wanted to only make the image slightly smaller, you'd decrease it by '10'.

So you'd type in both areas '90' (this takes off 10)

And when you click 'ok' the image will shrink. Due to the low quality of MS PAINT it might lose some quality (It might not look as good.) I found that saving the file type as '24 bit' helps this.

Do this as many types as you need. To check the images size click on 'images' again and 'attributes'. This tells you how big the image is. You can also make the image smaller this way too, but it will cut a part of your image out.
