River of tears, stained blood red
Wrists pour freely, blood I shed
I weep for words that have been spoken
You can't break me, I'm already broken

I've wasted time on thoughts and dreams
When really it was all just a false reality
Your note in my left hand, my knife in my right
I see your reflection when I hold it to the light

What could've you said to keep me from dying
And how could you know that I've been crying
Your words cut deeper than a double-edged sword
What could you have possibly been aiming for?

To break my heart? I don't think so
My heart was broken long ago
To pull me down? I'm already there
I'm pinned down by my own despair

Your selfish words are mine to keep
I read it every night when I cannot sleep
Your memory's are deep within my mind
I'll bury them deep so they are never found
