Who loves the most in a relationship?

I always hear that couples do not love each other equally.
That there is always one person who loves the other person more...

What do you think?

Because it's always this:

I love you more.
No, I love you more.
No, I do this for you and I would do this for you if anything were to happen.
No, I would do the same thing but I know I love you more 'cause I actually did that, remember?

And yadda, yadda, yadda.

Then you are just trying to top the person to try to let that person you love them more.

Absolutely true. Ive been in relationships like that. I was giving all the love, and was just another tool of a sex addict....

How is anyone supposed to be able to answer that?
Every couple is different and there's no universal way of measuring emotions.

The person with a bigger capacity to love is the one that loves more.

Sometimes people CAN love more... they just don't for that particular person.

Sometimes you can just tell who loves who in the relationship.

It can be obvious, so if a snake bit you in the face, you wouldn't know it because it's happening to you?

When you're really, truly in love..yeah, it seems like you love them so much and there is no possible way they could love you more...but they may feel that way too.
You can't really know what the other person is feeling.


Unless you don't love someone a lot, or if you know for a fact that they don't love you a lot, you can't accurately determine who loves who more.


But I say, it doesn't matter...as long as the loves exists. (:
