well wats the reason?? for me its basically the way i am in general. i wear emo clothes. look emo. i cry a lot. i write poetry. im a cutter [but that doesnt necessarily make u emo]. i was basically born with emo written across my forehead.

I don't think I'm emo, and yes I know I'm on an emo site but it's just because I want to talk with people with the same mindset as me.

idk the way u are the way u exspres ur self. umm sure u can b depresed cut but there not really nesasary. i dont belive in lables that much but i guess id be labled emo. id i guess it how u veiw things that makes u what and who u are.

i wouldnt really label me as emo, i dress emo and listen to the music but that doesnt necesserily make me emo, i dont think. *wonders* i could be more scene if anything. but i dont like labelling people as everyones unique, you label the look not the person.

I really don't care how to be labelled... But I think emo is the shortest discription for me...And don't go yelling: "You can't be emo, if it's your lifestyle, you're scene" and all that crap... I don't feel emo, I feel me... But when I tell people I'm emo I just get an "Ah, emo" instead of "Wtf are you saying"... So that's why I often call myself emo...
I don't believe emo is just about being yourself either. There are a lot of ways to be yourself and a lot of them just don't fit in emo...
What makes me emo, is that I like emocore, and that's about it...Oh and I read somewhere that emo is all about celebrating asymmetry, and I guess I would fit in to that, some way....

i dont really think anythign makes someone emo. they just kind of...know. like if you know your a bitch. or if you know if your gay, straigh or bi. its just one of those things.

i think labels are stupid but just how the world is. all people are the same, they just look different on the outside.
