Hm.. E, maybe try I'm yours by the script or, anything by John mayer gets the juices flowing for me.
Also, as surprising as it sounds. mozart stimulates the brain a LOT.

Blackbird & Broken Wings by Alter Bridge, both songs lyrics are quiet immense, and almost always touch me inside, so maybe they're not a bad way to go. ;D

Redemption and Longing by Gackt are also good, even though it's a Japanese band, if you find a translator the lyrics are also very good, but even though it's in Japanese and you can't understand it, just the way he sings them is quite interesting, has great rhythm to both of them, even though it's not really an emotional song with lyrics or music, you can still get an emotional connecting with it, if you can understand what I'm trying to get at. ;]

Yeah, I like me some shitty bands, too.
If you want inspirational music, take Rusty Venture's advice and listen to Progressive Rock or maybe some Post-Rock.
