She closes the door to her room,
From inside, you’ll hear a loud sound,
Sometimes, you may think it was from her stereo,
Then you realize that it was her, screaming loud.
Ignoring the knocks in the closed door,
Deaf of everything, all she hears are the growls,
Her own voice drowned inside the music,
And everything were nothing more but distant echoes.
Delirious and panting from running so far,
Caught up in spirits she found so hard to leave behind,
Hounds chasing after her, she broke into a sprint for a second time,
Only to get caught, stranded by the dead end that was her room.
She closes the door to her room,
Dismisses the thought of any form of communication,
Retreats to her sanctuary of a peace only she defines,
The one flowing and drowned in the loud speaker of her stereo.
the music from her stereo
