I just kind of wrote this while listening to this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKGHkBComjM
And thinking about someone really special to me.
I want you to kiss me when Such Great Heights play,
Sweet and everlasting.
Oh, love.
A silent gaze of your chocolate eyes,
Your two and a half dimples,
Your specks of freckles among soft, fair skin,
Sent me to edge closer.
Let’s move these blankets away
And my fingers, to trail down your cheek
As the tips of our lips touch, and gently part
Oh, love.
They will see us waving from such great heights,
Come down now, they’ll say
But everything looks perfect from far away,
Come down now..
But we’ll stay.
I suppose all my poetry will go here too. :]

Thanks James
Here's some old stuff.
My Lizard’s Name is Dean Wean
I found the candle in the attic
sitting on its lonely throne
of brass and chewed up pennies
cracking wind, rumbling stone.
among the planks once pirate's floor,
chimes lay scattered there
I realize I'm alone again
and I refuse to care.
friends just eat like insects,
I dream about their sound
I feel them spreading secretly,
poisoning my mouth.
**
and so, like sleep, like sheperd's staff
conducting me to follow
to float, to dream, to capture
every eye on the prey in hand
swimming in shallow waters,
i crawl upon it, steady, silent
yet you grasp me by the neck
and carry me on your shoulders.
i dont understand.
i'm lost within your arms, i want to sink and slip away
i try to hide but you find me
trembling behind the others,
just a punishment for your Mistake.
so be it.
through these meadows, rivers, and deserts
all of which you dwell in
i watch you each night,
the vultures pecking at your very heart
your fingers sinking into your gaping mouth
a scream escapes, but turns to vapor,
from vapor to clouds, from clouds to rain
from rain, to the tears on my very eyes.
i once loved you
Rest In Peace.
**
you squeezed my arm
scared to be alone
i held you close
the rain dripped lightly on your skin
a little voice trembles through the night
trying to reach home
trying to find a place to sleep
her dreamy eyes, her wandering questions
spread through the muddy streets
time to take you home.
i carry you up to your bedroom
i kiss your forehead goodnight
i smile lightly and walk off
you dream a dream of a million dreams
of jim morrison and the crowd swaying to his music
like his hair that flows
so vividly
opening and closing just like a flower.
**
reach higher find the supreme king, the venus in your eyes
mountains and valleys are whispering troubles
but you ignore them, just slightly,
to the toes of your feet you're dancing
let go of all the anguish in repair let loose your triumph, swing your hair
no one should be asking, just sleep all night all day
dream forever in a ship sailed far away
spread your body to the earth
it holds you close, it cradles you dear
fire collides with many who steer him wrong
dig your hands into his grave and taste
the senseless freedom
where it belongs.
