Swine flu, your opinions

3 kids at my school got swine flu, but apparently it's no worse than having a cold. :\

2 people in my school have it... and if it was bad then they wouldnt give us the option to back in the day after they told us

i found it very amusing when everyone freaked out about it

a school close to us got out for about a week because they were cleaning it

a subject made totally big by the media that cause a world wide panic.

leading to the waste of many piggy lives for pretty much nothing.

but, its not worth the panic it recieved. this is someting thats been repeated a lot: more people died of the regular flu than swine flu.

For fuck sake somebody lock this thread.

It's almost all everyone just repeatedly saying it's overblown.

People tend to overreact when it comes to swine flu.
It is just a flu only, you are more likely to catch it.
If you have a low immune system then you can be at risk but if you don't, don't overreact and say to everyone that sneezes ''OMG U HAVE LYK DA SWINE FLU!''

I'm not really scared of swine flu - to me, it just seems like a few sniffles, not much of a big deal. Only, like, 30 people in Britain ( where I live ) have died of it, and most of them were either very old or had underlying medical problems. I am neither of those. so I don't think I'm at much risk of dying from it. Also, more people have died this year from coconuts falling on their heads than swine flu ( TRUE FACT).

However, I do think I am going to catch swine flu within the next few months. Before school ended, not many people I knew had caught it, but since school ended for Summer LOADS of people at my school have said that they have it, so I'm pretty sure that when I go back to school in September I will catch it. But, hey, it's probably better to get it early than late, right?
