Unforgiveable wrote: More than a pandemic i believe. Words can't describe what this flu is going to do to the world. 100 people have already died. The number of people that have the virus is doubling over night. It hasn't been around for years so we have no cure for it.
The Bible talks about earth quakes, plagues, food shortages, and a bunch of other things. Revelations is where it is if you don't believe me. We don't have many years left on this planet.

Heaps of my friends have it in Australia, along with thousands more here.
They're fine, it's no worse than the normal flu. There were like 3 deaths here, 2 were real oldies I think and the other was already fair sick from something else.
Pandemic my ass.

Useless worry, the scientists have already gotten it under control, in my opinion. It may take a few lives, but oh well. We will live on. The strong walk on, the weak our ground. I'm not a jedi that feels every death, so it doesn't influence me any. The point is, the swine flu, H1N1, or whatever name you have for it, it's been taken and cured. There should be no worry, but people are foolish, and will complain about anything they have the chance to.

A few? the estimated death toll for the uk just this winter is up to 65,000, and many healthy people with nothing wrong with them are beginning to die from swine flu. I do agree that people complain about everything but it dont think people cant lighly ignore it.

Spoiler:

The corpses of the weak line the path of the strong
They give their lives for the greater good
Each generation harder, faster than the ones before
Bravely removing the cancer of humanity
Those who cant survive alone.
Dependency:
One of the greatest failings
The needy weaken the whole
Independence:
The key to our survival
In the past, safety was in numbers.
In the future, its safer to go on alone
Each thing you do, ask yourself
“does this serve the greater good?”

Source that information please. From what I have gathered, 100 people have died in total. I doubt that a flu which has been manufactured a cure for already, will go up that high, especially in the U.K. The flu itself, it isn't a big epidemic at the moment, and since it is under control, should not increase heavily. It hasn't been ignored. It has been diagnosed, researched, and medicine has been manufactured, that is not taken lightly.
Plus, what is those lives to the majority that inhabit earth? I'll take those deaths as a blessing, natural selection, in other words. When a species get over populated, they get aggressive, and sicknesses spread. We are a species, we have a high survival rate, but we can still get killed, and our numbers will be naturally diminished.

Twenty-nine people have now died in the UK after contracting swine flu, up from 17 on Monday, the government has said.

It comes as the number of new cases hit 55,000 last week and the NHS has seen a surge in calls and consultations.

Ministers in England have responded by promising the National Flu Service will go live at the end of next week to relieve pressure on hospitals and GPs.

The government has also warned that deaths from swine flu this winter could be between 19,000 and 65,000 in the UK.
