Site Rules (You are expected to read and follow them.)
Emobucket site rules:
The overview of our site rules and user rights, by Ashr, is below. It is a general overview of the site rules and covers a broad range of rules that may not be listed.
Use common sense and you should be good.
The following is an overview of the site rules by Ashr:
#1 Users will not infringe upon the speech of others; this includes but is not limited to: spam, excessive groundless criticism, user intimidation, slander, libel, and content theft.
#2 Users will be courteous to all other users, to moderators, and to administrators; this includes serious discussion and debate.
#3 Users will not post images containing pornography, nudity, mutilation, torture, or other images deemed to be inappropriate for the forums.
#4 Users will discuss topics in their appropriate threads and forums.
#5 Users will not make unwanted personal requests or advances; nor will they harass or threaten other users.
#6 Users will first discuss disputes with the appropriate users, if a dispute is still not resolved they may then seek help from moderator, if then the dispute is still unresolvable they may seek out an administrator.
#7 No account deletions shall be issued, unless upon administrator exception.
Note: Insulting new users will no longer be tolerated. You can report people at support@emobucket.com. If you insult new users, you will be banned for 12-24 hours.
Assaulting New Users
Any members who purposely harass new members for the simple fact that they are new will receive a short temporary ban. You were new once, and we were nice to you, so do the same for others.
Posting in the wrong forum
Check all the forums before posting to make sure that you are posting your topic in the correct forum. If you continually fail to post in the correct forum, you could be temp banned. For example, posting about how your girlfriend dumped you and you don't know what to do, should be done in Broken Hearts, not The Emo Bucket.
Duplicate Topics
If there is already a topic for, say "Who Likes To Shop?", and it has been posted in recently, there is no use in creating the same topic again. Unless the topic is pretty old, you probably should just post in the old topic. Sometime it may be necessary to create a similar topic, and if you do, it helps the moderators to explain why.
Uploading Images
Upload only images you own. Do not upload any pornographic images. Images depicting self harm will be removed and can in a temp ban. Upload your images into the proper albums!
Requests, Social Networking Requests
In "The Emo Bucket", there is a stickied thread for requesting friend requests and adds on other social networking site. Please post all of these requests there. This goes for MSN and AIM also.
Reporting
You can report users posts, profiles, private messages, and topics via the appropriate buttons. This ensures a moderator will look over their account. Do not report yourself, or report users as retaliation. The reports are human reviewed, so reporting someone 100 times will not get their account banned, and will result in you receiving a temporary ban.
Cussing / Vulgar Topics
Cussing, and other formally unacceptable posts/topics, are allowed in moderation. This means that you can cuss or use vulgar language to get your point across, but there is a line that can be crossed. Don't purposely try to cross the line.
Phone numbers and Addresses
Posting a phone number or home address on the forum is an instant ban for 1 week or more. This site is accessible by anyone, and posting such information is just stupid.
Requesting a users personal information
Requesting phone numbers and other personal information privately without provocation can result in a ban, depending on the circumstances. If someone requests information such as that, and you think something might be suspicious about them, please report them.
Rules not covered here
There may be rules not covered here. Please use common sense and respect other users, and you will be fine. If you break a rule not covered here, you will be warned privately.
