if youd met him...... you would understand

No.
He might be a bitch.

But you still have not given one shred of evidence that it's due to lack of male influence.

Why are we giving social norms to genders anyway? Saying that the male MUST be the tough one, and the woman MUST be the loving, caring one.

i still say its bad parenting, not a lack of male influence
in my experience, guys raised by single mother can be the nicest, but if they have a failure for a mother they turn out to be shitheads

I think that 2 men should not be allowed to raise a child. It will cause confusion for the child, result in undeserved teasing, and create a void between them and their peers.

Interracial children used to be teased, but now they're accepted by society. Breaking social norms takes time.

and not all that long ago, unwed parents where frowned upon. if a young woman got knocked up, she was sent away for the duration of the pregnancy, and forced to give the child up for adoption.
society is changing, and as it does, the concept of a "normal" childhood is disappearing
there are more people who come from, broken families, mixed race backgrounds, mixed religions, being brought up by anything from grand parents to a single parent, to four parents, to aunts, uncles, or even siblings, than children in an old fashioned family with married parents of opposite genders and a sibling or two.

it is, but with so many people who are homophobic and stuff will it change fast enough for people to be confortable with gay people adopting?

i dont know, maybe its because im in such a hick state and stuff, but around where i live alot of people are VERY uncomfortable with homosexuality

i once asked my mom what her reaction would be if i told her i was a lesbian, she said that she would kick me out of the house

A child has to have a big old tough guy and a mother growing up or else they'll go crazy! LOL!

Gays shouldn't be allowed to adopt. They should've thought about wanting children before they went all gay.

If a couple wishes to adopt a child, and obviously have the ability to be decent parents....why not?

In many parts of the world a gay person can adopt an orphaned family member,
but a couple can not
