Actually isn't it a bit weird that a majority of the population have HSV-1 (the one that gives you blisters). Most of the herpes genitalis (about 80%) is aused by HSV-2. I'm not really sure if you can cause a HSV-2 infection with HSV-1 (though it doesn't seem logical to me). So if nearly everyone has HSV-1, but only 20% of herpes genitalis is HSV-1... Do people never give blowjobs? Is the chance so low to get the "wring" timing of giving a bj while you're infectious?
I'm not saying you can't give someone herpes by a bj, I'm merely wondering.

A few years ago when my friend told me herpes was the resons for cold sores, I told my mom and she said it wasn't that, it was a virus like it. So I doubt she would support me in going to the doctor. Especially since I couldn't tell her WHY I wanna know and why I want it to be gone.
