isnt that just what i said?
accept you added your age.
and obviously you arent as sheltered as me.
but now im gonna stop making excuses.
i DONT know alot about the history of piercings but i do know alot about the piercings themselves, which is why i started this thread. to learn more about them.
i didnt expect to be made to feel inferior by you.
this is just a discussion about piercings and tattoos, so i could kinda learn more about them and why ppl are so against them, and why even though theyre a big part of mainstream society, most ppl look down upon them.
OH and btw, you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar

*shrug* you say that nowTiffanyTreason wrote: KittensKill, since I dont like you as is, I imagine I would dislike you even more if you truly were being mean.
most who hate me grow to love me, or they turn into psycho freaks what have to be slapped around with the banhammer.
meh
you'll love me in the end (or love to hate me, which amounts to the same thing)
Back on topic,
heres an idea, why done you all ask your parents their opinion on piercings and tats, and why they have this opinion?
I would ask mine, but I don't live at home anymore

That's why you're not allowed to get them, and that's why your parents take care of you.SabrinaSunshineXD wrote: and tell me i would never get a job.Why do i care?im only 12.
While piercings might not be as permanent as tatoos (though often there'll still be scars), they're still bodymodification. You're mere kids. I know you all think you're oh so mature, and this is really only being yourself, and you'll love having this piercing/tattoo until you're old and die - chances are you won't. Most probably next year you'll think it's stupid.
I saw Kelly Osbourne on a TV show recently, talking about her tattoos. She regrets most of them, many mean nothing to her anymore, but she can't get rid of them all (apparently there's no way to get rid of red yet).
And she gave some advice that I thought sounded quite clever: if you want some, think about it for at least one year.
This is your body, it's going to be with you for the rest of your life.
It's easier to get a divorce, than to get rid of a tattoo or a scar. So why do people give marriage more time and thought than body modification?

My mum hates piercings and tattoos.
She thinks they're "disfigurements" (I know they are) and make you look cheap and trashy.
I have an older mum (she's 56 this year), so she's quite conservative.

thats how my stepmom is, to solve the problem i told her that i hated her and that im not her child so she needs to stop pretending, and its my life not hers. i also told her she doesnt know how to raise a child so she should just commit suicide. she hasnt said anything about it since. i hate the fucking kike
i told that bitch lol but she doesnt have any other kids too and i always remind her that im her "fuck up".
but im glad my real mom is kinda laid back about piercings. she just doesnt want me to get anything that will be heinous/s and m/ or too big.
i tried for snake bites and a stud in my lip, but those were both no's so i tried for a monroe, and im actually allowed to get it. i was amazed. but in doing so i made my dad hate me [awesome(:]
the real reason i think shes letting me get it is because i chose to live with her instead of my father.
bonus points!!!! so yeah. very happy.
and KittensKill, i prolly will end up loving you.... not in a creepy way but i guess i need to actually get to know ppl before i label them as ignorant and such.
(:
peace?

I'm only allowed to get cartilages and ear piercings or else somewhere hide-able and not "freaky"
Pissed at first, but I got over it; I made a deal; semi-permanent tattoos now and then.
I just got over it in time. Besides, the world might be more open, but it'll still give you a damn hard time to get a job if you have piercings all over your face. It's not fair, yeah, but you can't help that people misjudge at first glance.

Actually that's a great way to express feelings. Writing or music really helps and not because it makes you look "cool" and that poser shit.
The world goes through cycles, it's a matter of time before the opinion changes again, but we'll see if we change first or the world does first.
