Umm, actually it wouldn't be all that fantastic...the government can't tell a person what to wear or listen to. And it sends a completely wrong message about being emo/scene or whatever you call it.

If it's a situation THIS serious, then sure they can! These "people" should be locked in jail or at the very least sent to an asylum until they see the clear ludicrousness of their choices.

Just because one idiot is crazy and does something stupid, doesn't mean the rest should suffer. Its just a stupid law...
if they are so worried about kids being suicidal then they should give parents lessons on how to take care of a child before they have kids, because the reason half these kids are suicidal are the parents/guardians fault.
or they should have a better plan of going about it then making it a law to be emo/scene...

Who said anything about suicide? Emo kids/scenesters just deserve to be punished. They're annoying little fuckers and they only way to deal with them is to lock them away for good.
