Yeah. I don't have a thing against SxE. It's something I can admire, but I dislike the people who only do it because they're underage and feel like being hardcore XP

I don't plan on doing drugs, cigs, or alcohol.

I've got no problem with people who claim to be straight edge, but why must personal choices such as that have a label. why don't we just cram it in with stuff like a healthy diet, exercise etc and just call of that 'personal responsibility'?

its not about the age of consent. when somebody turns 21 or is of legal age to buy alcohol then decide "oh hey ima drink now" then fine. go for it whatever. but..for those who stcick to this and keep it are the kool ones.;

I don't take anyone under the age of twenty-one(or whatever the drinking age in their country is) claiming to be straight edge seriously. You're not supposed to be drinking anyway. You're not rebelling, you're obeying the fucking law. Stop trying to be so hXc and rebellious when you're not. Get over yourselves. Also, your signature is retarded. Threatening people with violence isn't a good way to say "OMG DRINKIN, SEX, N DRUGS R BAD DNT DO EM K?!?!?"

i say im straight edge though, well i think i have said it before
kinda feel stupid but i know i wont drink, wont do drugs and wont smoke

i always assumed i would drink, but the last year... alcoholism has been such a big part of my life, and i cant imagine doing it to myself.

also im kinda frigid so the random sex thing isnt a problem

its easier to say "im attempting a straight edge lifestyle" coz its true
plus im practically already "behind" the rest of my year, AND the year below me.
everyone else i know has drunk at least once and most of my friends drink alot.

actually.. i used to drink a shit ton, and do alot of hard drugs, and hurt alot of the people i love. My best friend just overdosed on coke, and pills. she was 16. so yes its possible for someone underage to drink, and to do drugs, so therefore if its possible for that then they can quit. doesnt matter the age. Im straightedge because i feel a deeper sensation knowing that i am no longer doing that stuff. I found friendship with people who have been straightedge their whole lives,never drank a drop in their lives. and they are in their 20's. yeah some dumbasses are posers. doesnt mean everyone is.maybe your just a little upset because your not strong enough to devote your life in staying pure and funcional. thats not my fault.

Not taking underage sXe kids seriously is just stupid.
It probably takes more devotion to say no to drugs and alcohol when you're underage and in highschool or whatever, than it does when you can legally drink.

I'm not sXe, and probably couldn't be.

and to everyone who's telling sXe kids to stop trying to be hardcore - everyone who gets drunk and high for the fuck of it needs to stop thinking they're so fucking hardcore.

I used to drink and everything else, but I quit because someone finally got it through my thick skull I was doing something incredibly stupid.

advice from someone who knows, it's best to never drink or do drugs. Don't let the straightedge just be a phase. Stick with it.

Straight-Edge people usually see themselves as higher beings who are better than everyone else for being moral enough to actually follow the law, and even if you are over 21, what's the big fucking deal if you have a drink or smoke, you're enjoying the short life you have left, big fucking woop. As long as you do it in moderation. And you're one to talk for being 'sxe', when you brag about having sex with your girlfriend all the time.

Like I said, I don't plan on doing drugs or drinking, but I don't try to make it a fucking lifestyle and pretend I'm just that much cooler for it.

sex and sxe is this: no promiscuity. i am not just having sex with someone. I have devoted my life to this woman and i am in love with her. its not random sex and we waited therefore you have no right to say anything about that. before you start saying anything do your research.

thats because it is your personal opinion why would i try and go against that? its just bringing in my girlfriend i had to say something. Alot of people feel the way you do.i felt that way for the longest time. but i needed to grow up, i needed to see that my life was going nowhere. i did the jail thing and the bullshit GED because of drugs and alcohol.but when i say i am straight edge, and that i live by their principles i feel a sense of pride, if others do not agree who am i to argue? there are things people do that make me say wtf, but hey what can you do?
