What do you guys think?
this was a topic brought up in school and then i got curious about others thoughts other than my classmates.
i personally think that the worst kind of hypocrite is a religious hypocrite.
because they judge others for something they did wrong and then turn around and do it themselves but its ok for them because God has forgiven them of their sins but anyone else who does it still has dirty hands, so to speak.

Religion is bullshit, quite frankly. Why waste your time worshipping something that might not even be there? You'd be wasting your life. Nobody has any proof that a 'God' is real. Or non existant, to be fair.
And 'Religious Hypocrites' bother me also. So, if another parent's child has sex, they're considered 'sinful'. But if their own children have sex, then they'll be 'FORGIVEN' because they have a strong relationship with air. Interesting, huh?

What will it take for you to understand?

i agree
i meet a lot of hypocrates that's christians (sp?)
but i have nothing against the religion (or any other)
they say stuff like you need to read the bible or go to church, and i'm like i know more stuff than you! and you only read and follow the parts you like!!
like in the bible it says you shouldn't kill... and some soliders are christians KILLING
and they eat meat (let me tell you that's a type of killing!!)
and in the bible it said God said a lot of stuff about not eating meat and how God said stuff like i will not look at you because your hands are full of innocent blood (or something... idk the actual wording)
and a lot of them are like Jesus ate fish!! if you actually read the whole thing you'd know he did not eat fish or drink wine!! he made "fish" appear in thin air or whatever so a little bit of common sense and wisdom tells us that it's not really fish!!! and if he made like 100 or 1000 glass of "wine" from like what a drop of it? IT ISN'T WINE!!
then they sin and go to church acting like they never did anything wrong or ask for forgiveness then when Monday comes around!! they cuss like they don't know any other words, they pull out the wine and drugs, and become sexually promiscuous, lie, eat meat, whatever!!
they're some much more stuff to!
and for that one or two people who wants to agrue so much that you fail to realize that i'm only talking about the ones i personally meet(!) i feel sorry for you!!
and i know i can't spell... and that i have bad grammar....
and i know this is long and my not make since and may offend some people but i kinda don't care right now... (i might feel bad later on but it's going to be to late i'm posting this hahahaha!!)
and i know i might sound mad or whatever but i'm ok now!
i'm back to my annoying, silly, playfull-self, who can't spell YEPPIE!!

RE: Religious Hypocrites
One thing I hate about religious hypocrites is that most Christians are in the 'God loves everyone' thing but if you're not their religion, God must hate you cuz that automatically makes you a Satanist.
I'm Celtic Wiccan and no matter how many times I explain it to people at my school, they still call me a Devil worshiper, which is funny cuz in my religion, there is no devil.
We're supposed to respect them and forgive them but they don't have to do shit because they decide that God says they don't have to.

I don't know where you got that from, but it's obviously an excuse to be something that isn't even a religion (wiccan)

I hate that christians say to "love thy neighbor" and that "God loves everyone" that "we are all the same in his eyes" but then they turn around and say that being gay is a sin, and that its wrong. and some christians hate gay people. what happened to actually living a purely christian life, its almost as if the religion itself is changing to fit people better.

Wow.
Yes, Christians believe that homosexuality is in fact a sin.
They don't hate all homosexuals, they just see wrong in it.
Yes, some religious people do talk about committing certain sins, and then commit it themselves, but they have God to go to so that their sins can be forgiven.
And onto reading the Bible and stuff, the scriptures in the Bible were written hundreds of years ago.
Do you really expect a Christian to abide by those scriptures literally?
You're supposed to take those scriptures and intertwine them with this society, this generation.
It's all a matter of how people interpret the scriptures.

I'm just a love machine, feeding my fantasy, give me a kiss or three and I'm fine.
I need a squeeze a day, instead of the negligée, what will the neighbours say? <3

I ain't your cute little sex toy,
I'm not your lion or your tiger,
Won't be your nasty little boy,
I'm not your boyfriend, baby,
I can't grant your every wish,
I'm not your knight in shining armor,
So, I just leave you with this kiss
Kill the lights,
These children learn from cigarette burns, fast cars, fast women, and cheap drinks,
It feels right,
All these asphyxiated, self-medicated; take the white pill, you'll feel alright,

You don't intertwine it to social issues (except for a few), or try to use it to justify legalizing something.

True.
Well, I meant more like intertwining it with the aspects of living in the world at this time.

yes your are supposed to put the scripture into todays generation and thoughts, but they are still the solid outline for what God wants us to do. Its still the basic guidelines and you cant intertwine them completey you can only change the views to somewhat fit us now.

Italics: Most of my family does that
Underline: But some sins can't be forgiven, and even if you do ask forgiveness some people go and do it again and ask for forgiveness again (which is odd)
Bold: They were written more than 2,000 years ago, whose to say its not made up? Who knows, maybe the people were insane.
Slashed: How do you intertwine it in todays messed up society were deceit(sp?) and lies are around every corner? But people are supposed to take it only one way, otherwise you don't get the full effect of it.
