They refer to themselves as "the first donation-based record label." The bands on the label all offer their mp3s for free, under the albums section to the left hand side. The label is most notable as being started by Jeff Rosenstock of The Arrogant Sons of Bitches and Bomb the Music Industry!, and being the label for both those bands. Other artists on the Long-Island based label include:

Cheeky
Chotto Ghetto
The Matt Kurz One
Pegasuses XL
Rick Johnson and the Rock and Roll Machine
The Riot Before
We Versus the Shark
And although they're no longer on the label, The Livingbrooks released an album with Quote Unquote.

Well that record company is going to fall apart. Most bands and groups want & need to make money to make their dream and jobs going. "Charity" doesn't work in the music biz.

in this case, i completely agreed, but i dunno radiohead released there new cd "in rainbows" themselves and had it for free download or donate what you think the album is worth, and they made millions, and oddly enough most people paid for it too. granted that those bands arent radiohead and dont ahvea massive cult following like they do, but it is an example of how "charity" in the music biz sometimes does work, usually only without the idiot record label execs.

The label's been together for two years now and all of the bands are making a good living of off it, in addition to their touring.
