Should a gay couple be allowed to adopt??

Of course they should be able to adopt if they want to have a kid and they can adopt a kid coming from a poor country or give a child a family why not?

i agree that they should be allowed to adopt. there are so many children being born, overpopulating this world, that the ones left over have to be taken care off, regardless of sexuality..

To me it should not matter whether the couple that is adopting is a guy and girl or a girl and girl or a guy and guy, i think that as long as they are brought into a loving environment then thats all that matters. If a "gay" couple wants to adopt then go ahead and let them.

i honestly believe that men are created equaly so yes homosexuals should be able to adopt. Just because they are gay or lez, doesnt mean the child will turn out that way. Your changing a childs life, making a difference, your not hurting anyone. and your sexuality should have nothign to do with what you do, such as adopting a child.

Nothing wrong with this in my eyes, however the couple must make a great decision which could determine the child's future social life. As the child begins to mature and notice that other children have a female and male parent, they will most likely become confused. Also, they will most likely be ridiculed for having two parents of the same gender. This often leads to social discrimination, making the child feel immensely uncomfortable. The decision lies in the hands of the couple...
