Year 7 graduation halp

Year 7 graduation halp

by Lemzoiku on 11-03-2009 10:59 pm

Its a tradition at my school that at the end of the year the year 7’s have a formal dinner. All the girls are talking about how they’re gonna get their nails done and what totaly hot botiques they’re going too. I wanna do something different.
I have been contemplating what I’m going to wear, and I’ve got it down to 3 options:

+ A swaky looking black suit- I think it’d look cool, I’ll slick back my hair with some pretty bobby-pins, a smooth looking black gansta looking hat and take-in the suits waist so it looks more “feminne”.

+I simple Black dress with flats and cuffs ‘n’ studds all up my arms with some weird make-up.

+18th century style, with a thigh lenght dress with, like, heaps of petticoats...Kinda like, uh, baby lotita...

I’m not gonna spend that much money and I’m quite capable of sewing my outfit myself...So yes, a little feed-back about what option would be best, or any differnet suggestions about what I should be wearing would be apperciated.
Oh, and my personal favorite is the tailored suit one.

Thanx

xx

Yeah, I wouldn't do the suit either. Might earn you the nickname of "Butch" at your school.

And gaudy. I mean, I understand that you want to be different but why can't you just get a simple dress and some chucks or something. Must you be totally different for this event, in a really odd way? There's ways to be different and stylish, you know. By the way, grade seven grad, been there done that. It's not that glamorous, trust me.

Lol, I agree with Blythe, reminded me of Katy's friend on Mean Girls who wore the suit to prom. She kind of rocked it though.

I rather like the suit idea.
Wear whatever you want but I vote for the first option.

Hmm, personally I think they all sound too formal for a year seven graduation.

but, out of the three, I like the second idea the most.
But maybe keep the make-up tame.

when I attend some role playing . . .
I prefer wearing a long-sleeves black,
a skinny black pants a tie and casual shoes, or leather . . .

in my 7th graduation ceremony . . .
we are obliged to wear the school's uniform
but it's different in an usual uniform
we call it "Gala Uniform" you're lucky
you have a chance to choose and we,
we stick with that ugly "Gala Uniform"
