maybe this is hypocritical of me, because i always try not to judge others, but incest personally disturbs and bothers me, especially parent-child. sibling is more acceptible, but i am still disturbed...adopted sibling, perfectly fine.

I find it positively disgusting.
Just thinking about it makes me shudder.
Our ancestors agreed.
They figured out that if you marry your sister and spawned offspring, eventually your genetic line died out. According to evolutionary theory, people want ther genes to survive so incest is bad, okay? Not only that though...there is love and then there is power, and it is often acknowledged from a moral standpoint that if two people love each other but if one of those people has power over the other one, then the "love" they have is impure and tainted. Western philospohy is rife with this idea, even outside religious circles. A child may love his mom and dad and may want to please them and be loved in return....but that doesn't mean the child wants to be loved like THAT. A parent who abuses the power they have over their child who loves them in order to have an incestuous relationship is a imoral person. Also, because their imoral activities might result in the discontinuation of their familial line, they are also a stupid person.

genetically it is not a good thing, but I (being a believer in free love) believe if you love someone, do your own thing, and ignore what people say. ive never thought of or committed incest, but no one has an honest right to tell you who you can love or be with...
