Life had come crashing down like a mid summer thunder storm. Your eyes pierced into mine, and sudden realization came that we were not meant to be. I was ruthlessly stabbed with a million emotional knives. So I carried these knives and threw them back at you, and your eyes no longer pierced through my gaze of revulsion. They were vacant and stained, because we knew that all we own is nothing. All we knew was failed attemps. All we felt were emotions that twisted what was left of our sanity. We never spoke the words, but we both were aware that we were about to break.

you pushed me back
I looked to leave
but I was trapped

I lie here and wonder
what is it you want
sometimes I feel sadness
or nothing at all
