i seriously think that 7/8 'ths of scene kids everywhere are posers, its extremely pitiful

at my school there're a lot of kids who try to be emo, goth, scene, etc. but they seriously can't pull it off and it's so pathetic. really it's not that big of a deal until this one chick keeps askin me if i'm emo. i just shrug and then she asks to see my wrists and then tells me i'm a posuer cuz i don't have any scars. stupid.
i get judged sometimes but most of the time i'm pretty cool.

Where I go to school, emo isn't really bashed on that much considering All the emo kids are in the highest grade,, although there is one 3rd grader that is emo..He has the whole look, hair, skinnies, band shirts n all..
But mostly my class (8th grade) Is all emo/scene kids.
Last year though the 8th grade was full of wiggers and preps. And I was the only emo kid..(small small private school)
At my church/school I do get alot of bashing from certain people because I wear eyeliner,, sad part is we all grew up together when we were younger hah.

For where I live, its alot different since my school is on the other side of town, we a few emos here and there, more punks than scene, or goth.
No one really bashes on the emo kids, although I did get a slushie thrown at me one day by some pricks in a car, and I saw this scene kid being harrased in the shower room by some football players, but mostly we dont have that big of a problem.

It was all a huge fad last year...
I'm like the one of the only ones that stuck with it minus 2 guys.
Same with the bi fad.

Meh, some people are labelers and hate what society tells them to hate, some people just don't care.

people make jokes about me at school (even one of my teachers) but thats about all.
though around the community its a little different (people shouting from cars, openly mocking me) but i dont mind.

no one really minds how i dress. its on the inside that counts.

I've been told by my room mates that there are a couple other scene peoples on campus, but I haven't seen them. I don't really get bashed, because anyone who does can get kicked out of the school for a "hate type crime." I do get a lot of looks though and there are a couple posers....

ppl don't really give a fuck where i live, but some of the preppy kids don't like emo looking kids cuz they think they're weird when really they haven't ever talked to them or given them a chance.
But for the most part emo kids get invited to lots of parties!!!!

Theres oen emo kid at my school, beside me. one :/ He's in my grad. So yeahh, we get curse out, beaten up, things have eben thrown at us, and my history teacher told me i look like chris angel. -.- I hate chris angel. Theres alot of posers here. Theyre mostly lame kids who get picked on adn think emo is gonna make them better. but they;re all freakin' idiots. one rly annoying girls goes around and purposefully draws attention to her wrist, where she has cuts. she so stupid!!

The emo trend here (Perth, Australia) used to be really hated around two years ago. I didn't even dress emo and I still got yelled at for sitting with the "emo group" (as labeled by others).

These days, it's considered "old news". The most you'll get is some curious stares, but no one really interferes.
Unless your typical "scene queen wannabes" spot you, you might hear them make some comment about how your make up isn't done right *face palm*. But that's about it.

The new fad here is Raver, except it's not nearly as hated as emo was. I'm really not a big fan of the rave scene though.
The main thing that annoys me about the raver fad is the swamp of kids who can't maintain a conversation without talking about "how awesome drugs are" and "getting hells wasted". Lame.


Anyway, that's my two cents.

depends on who the persson is. niggers hate me, preps fear me, other "emos" just nod when i pass them, and adults disapprove of me. who'd i miss? oh yeah nerds. nerds try to strike up a friendly conversation with me. the other unstereotyped kids just kind of stare.
