wow, really great thread, that's true it's so effing difficult to find GOOD hair stylist, once i found someone who really listened to what i wanted, but now they moved somewhere else... Crying or Very sad

i read everything, and have a question, my hair is about seven inches in the back, thinned and chopped up,
and i'm looking into getting extensions, i've found some, and researched how to put them in,
is my hair long enough in the back to hide the clips?

Honestly I think the thing with extensions is less about actually having the hair and more about being able to pull it off. The only people I've seen do it are sort of far and few between and they normally use them for things like their sidebangs and stuff like that. I'm not quite the expert though, I'd try putting them in and seeing if you hate them. *shrug*

This thread is so many levels of amazingness. Now if only I had money and a way to a stylist. Hahaha.
I'm sadly a victim of dyeing my hair a lot (like, once every 3-4 weeks a lot) But I'm super good to it, use loads of conditioner, heat protectant, I even blow dry on the cool setting!! Haha.
Ok, sorry, I'm rambling now.
Excellent thread.

Does the "cutting your own hair is dumber than going to a stylist" opinion apply to a hair stylist that cuts her own hair?

: O

This guide is AMAZING Ash!

I went to get my middle-back length hair cut today, and I was so scared that they'd do it wrong, but I made sure to keep all these things in mind, and it looks wayy better than I thought it would!

So thanks!
