I ordered my pre sale tickets to their Perth show in december, Im so so so excited Smile

I haven't heard much of the new album yet, just the singles. Personally, I found Know Your Enemy kind of repetative and not that great =/
but, man, 21 Gun is freakin amazing :O
I'm gonna make sure to get this album for my birthday ^_^

Green Day was good, their old stuff I could tolerate and actually like.
In grade 1, to about grade 6 I was completely obsessed with them. ( I thought I would marry Billy Joe Rolling Eyes

But now I just want to slaughter them all.
What teh fuck. They aren;t even good anymore, you can hear too much pop influence.
Makes me very very angry.
I hate saying this, but yeah they are sell outs.

Meh, old Green Day was decent.

But lately, they were even worse. Now they think they're so cool by using homophobic slurs in every other song.

they think bumping up their swearing and profanity makes them hard asses.
plus, did i mention they sound too much like pop.

i mean i can stand pop punk (kind of >.>) but when you sell out too it, you loose my listening.

I liked their old stuff.
Their new stuff wasn't what I expected and I'm not a huge fan of it. Like Know Your Enemy, it's too repetitive for my liking.
And yes.. They are sell outs.
It bothers me.. just -sigh-

I love them.
So much.
But my favorite album is deffinately Internatinoal Superhits.
Collection of all their greatest old stuff.
I own EVERY album.
Even 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours.
And I agree with Nikki and the fact that Know Your Enemy is completely repetitive, also too much for my liking.
And their new music is packed full of profanity and such but it's got good political messages.
I just recently did a music project on them, actually.

They're total sell outs, not to mention they're pop rock and untalented.
No passion in their music.

I like their old stuff much better i was watching Green Day through the years last week on Kerrang! and it got to 2009 and i was thinking yeah they sold out. But then i still love them. And my friend is seeing them live soon! Urgh, jealousy
