Okay, to find if something is emo or screamo, you can just check any of the list of bands at the beginning of this thread, and if your music is similar to that, it has a chance of being in the emo or screamo genre. (Or it's just punk or hardcore-punk)

In all honesty I really think eb is an intelligent place, but there defenitions and attitude are fairly.. elitist..

P.S.S: I just saw what you said but dont you say most indie are progressive any band can be progressive progressive is more along the lines of a term to describe a band that uses odd time signatures, and utilize complex song forms..(The same could be said for experimental not nessicarily a genre but a term to describe)
