what emo means...

some people are always saying that emo people cut themselves. emo isnt always about cutting. i have heard of 3 different kinds of emo styles.
1)the hardcore emo

2)the blood-thirsty emo

3)the silent emo

the hardcore emo is someone who has the whole look down but are not as shy as a silent emo person would be. the hardcore emo is much lounder and only cries once in a while.

the blood-thirsty emo is somone who does cut, unlike someone that would be hardcore or a silent emo. cutitng is the solution to a blood-thirsty emo. (which i have nothing against)

the silent emo person cries often. mostly doesnt say much. pretty much the way they let everything out is with writing. they are usually, like i said, a very quiet person.

yeah i would mostly identify with the first one.

people should grasp that this is just for fun.

AND some people see "emo" as more than just music but symbolic of a way of life but its a little harder to explain than other things.
its like a philosophy- can be explained with any amount of mental reasoning.
its just learned from experience.

i think its pretty funny.

its hard to really put a label on emo's (which we really shouldnt you cant judge anyon based on a label )simply because being this way its not like theres a list of things to do to "be" emo.. every person brings there individual personality to who they are and how they dress and even to the way they act.... personaly my friends call me emo not because i cut my self(which i dont) and not even because of the way i dress. its because of the way i am. i they say im the deep one. i just tend to get lost in thought alot. so yeah no more labels please......and wouldnt the hardcore emo be the cutter....since they are "hardcore" this is why labels are bad the never really make any sense
