I have questions to ask...

My hair is kind of wavy and I'm thinking of using a straightener such as a flat iron to straighten it up. My mom said using a flat iron can damage ur hair. I dont want my hair to be frizzy and damaged.

uhmm...what will i do to make my hair straight w/o damaging it when I'm going to use a flat iron? and what products am i going to use to make my hair look good before/after using a flat iron??

sorry i havent replyed sooner, i've been in and out of the hospital.
i would use pantene hair straightner before you flat iron it will stop your hair from frying....you can also get hair straighters with a steam option on it...steam straightening will also not damage your hair =)

well it depends what type of liquid eyeliner you use
yes they make waterproof liquid....and thats what i recomend wearing
everyday or when ever you feel like wearing eyeliner
that way it wont smudge off, regular eyeliner might tend to smudge
or fade through out the day, waterproof is the way to be =)*covergirl*

hair advice?

by XxkayxX47 on 12-30-2007 11:14 pm

so, i was wondering if you think it would be a good idea for me to get black tips on my hair? my cousin thinks it would be too drastic, but shes kinda preppy. i just want to do something different with my hair, but not really sure what. i have dark brown with reddish-brown highlights if that helps.

haha hunny drastic is bleaching your hair then dying it bright pink
*done that one before =)*
i say go for it it will work really well with your dark hair

hmm judging by your picture i think you should get the shortest layer so its covering the very top of your ear about an inch *hope that makes sense* or if this makes more sense, so it lines up with the bottom of your eye....and with the black tips I think it would look good with the tips of each layer dyed black or just the very bottom of your hair and bangs

I did that with my hair last year except it was opposite colors this is how it turned out *horrible picture of myself--gah! i look soooo diffrent now*

but thats what i mean just the end tips, and the bangs xD

well its always hard to say without knowing what kind of face shape and what not....but my sissy-in-law ^.^ had the same problem....
i would recomend a short layered cut....like lengthy in the front
somewhat short in the back...also blow drying your hair from the bottom up *blow your hair so it goes up instead of against your head*(hope that makes sense* but if you get your hair layered....you can style it right so it doesnt look to thin *if you go to a hairdresser ask her for a layer cut that volumizes when you blow dry it* she should know what you mean by that....
i hope that helps...
