Favourite anime? Hm. I don't have one. Death Note, Fruits Basket, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzimiya are probably my top 3 though.
Favourite character? Shikamaru Nara from Naruto, Kenshin Himura from Rurouni Kenshin and Kakeru Manabe from Fruits Basket (even though he didn't make it to the anime, only the manga but whateverr.)

Hmmm i found out a new anime for me,Bakugan!...It's so badass.Drago is my favorite monster ;O.Also G-Gundam is really interesting.It's said though they had to change the name of God Finger.To Shining Finger for religion purposes though e_e

Shining Tears X Wind...Is a great anime.Have you ever watched it?.Seriously before you start criticizing others opinions on a certain anime.Try watching it.And stop getting on the mainstream non-sense.Try animes that noone has ever heard of.I'm watching Ai Yori Aoshi.It hasn't been mainstreamed yet.Air Gear.No one knows what it is.Grr ranting mode is over with.e_e

if you are new to anime, do NOT watch the english dubbed versions of ANY anime it sucks ass
anyways I like
Naruto - I like Lee and Gaara, my favorite is Naruto though, he pwns
One Piece - mu favorite is Luffy or Zoro, hands down.
Death Note - L, of course
Air Gear - Agito/Akito and Kazu
Trigun - Vash
Detective Konan (sp?) - dont have a favorite character
