Some shit for my band

I write lyrics for my band (ex band). Most I dont use, but I am starting an acoustic project, I will use these.

Gallows Of Our Love:

A clipping almost occurred,

Roadways to confusion:
I cant help but feel some shame,
an opressed figure passes,
its roots onto me.
Funny how this tends to work out,
a melencholly world were everyone is sought out.
Highway signs, pointing towards home,
can I make this journey, or am I doomed.
I would be just fine,
hitchhiking the opposite way.
But the cb just radiod in,
and I have got to stay.
Connecting chords, a black ink,
thats why this sheet falls apart,
black burns into the sky.
The overcast blamed on a boy,
who dreamed a bit to hard,
and fell short of the stars.
