Yea and Ben & Jerrys is already a little more expensive, so if they started paying all these woman to pump breast milk it would be outrageos.
Like.. how would they even do that? Temp hire woman with newborns, and hook them up to machines like they do cows? lol

Well actually, a woman can keep breast-feeding for years, unlike cows. They can breast feed for as long as they want, they just have to keep on feeding. There are children, I think in the UK, that are nine and still breast feed. And the mother didn't have a baby recently. I think as long as you keep taking milk out of the breast, it keeps making more.

This is a good example of why I generally try to avoid vegetarians and- or vegans: a blunt holier-than-thou attitude. The only thing you'll achieve with such a mentality is more people refusing to join your cause......

LAWL
WHAT THE HELL?
Well. I'm glad I never liked Ben&Jerry's after their legal matters of defending serial killers.
This is just... creepy.
In Human Development and Psychology they always tell of how this is a bad thing, seeing as there can be so many contaminates, or people that lie (as all places won't test for contamination). Still. Creepy.
Also, we all know PETA is full of shit

Vegetarian food is cheaper than meat. Just so you know.
A lot, lot of vegitarian food where i live is more expensive(ex. you can buy enough meat to make about 20 or so hamburgers for eight dollars, but when my dad buys veggie burgers for me and my sister, it's four dollars for a pack of four.) On the other hand, you can buy pasta for a lot cheaper than meat. It all depends on what you want to buy.

^Pasta is not a type of veggie.
And there's still the fact you don't know what's really in most of the synthesized stuff out there. It's unhealthy to slowly starve yourself over years.

They also don't eat animal extracts which are in TONS of food. So unless you enjoy cooking flavorless beans.
You wouldn't know it, but you can't eat marshmallows. You have to eat vegan marshmallows. Good luck finding some of those.
By the way, unless you over eat, there is nothing more healthy about eating vegetarian.

You know what you do? You buy beans that are even cheaper, cook 'em, mash 'em, mix 'em and make bean burgers, ok? Cheaper, healthier and more tasty.
Nexus:
Who said pasta is a vegetable? Btw, you can starve yourself, yes, but you can't do it slowly. You can die of deficiency, if that's what you mean. But then you would probably notice it, because you would be sick as hell. If you really think serious vegetarians try to keep alive on lettus, you are wrong. Most of us vegetarians know what the hell we're doing and we are not starving ourselves.
Xeno:
Ever heard of seasoning? You know like, salt and pepper? Or spices in general? It's like me saying that you should become vegetarian unless you enjoy flavourless and bland meat. You don't eat it as it is. You prepare it with something. Maybe a tomato sauce. Usually the "TONS of food" you are referring to are banned anyway from a vegetarian diet.
And about the marshmallows, yes I do know. Don't you think vegetarians check the sweets FIRST? And it wasn't particularly hard to find vegan marshmallows. In less than three minutes I found out that Sweet & Sara makes cheap vegan marshmallows and Angel Food have a make-your-own-vegan-mashmallow-kit. I also found two recipes for making my own. On a side note I don't really like marshmallows as they are and I don't camp that often to make me miss it.
Lastly, yeah there is. If you don't eat you will less likely suffer from stroke, myocardial infarction and intestinal cancer.
Cheers.

You were using it as an example of veggies being cheaper of which I noted pasta =/= veggies.PrettyOdd08 wrote:Nexus wrote: ^Pasta is not a type of veggie.

Vegitarians don't eat just vegetables.
I see desperation here.Venfort wrote: If you really think serious vegetarians try to keep alive on lettus, you are wrong. Most of us vegetarians know what the hell we're doing and we are not starving ourselves.
And it's lettuce*.
Most of them, actually, do not know what the hell they are doing. They are only prolonging starvation (deficiency), ex; malnutrition / lack of nutrition and a proper diet. There is not one truly successful.

No, she took pasta as an example of vegetarian food cheaper than meat.
Yes, that is correct. I get desperate. Because I don't know what to say to you so you understand. You live with some fucked up prejudice that all vegetarians are a bunch of weak, thin and sickly kids. I don't know how the hell you came up with that, but you seem to think it's the truth and it proves how little you know about nutrition in general and especially about plant based nutrion. I have been a vegetarian for two and a half years. I need to know what I'm doing. I own several books about it and I'm going to take it up in uni.
What facts do you have to back your arguments? What serious studies can you refer to that proves that all vegetarians are malnourished?
Here's a site about nutrition and here's a site about the results.
