A Walk Through The Wild

A Walk Through The Wild

The atmosphere was most sunny
Bringing optimism and alertness to the grass
The dew stood on end still and silent as if the sky would fall apart
"Falling apart"
So uncanny and relevant to what I've seen and what I believe
The clouds swam slowly in the sky
Making the ground dark and hollow
Morbid, hunger, unimaginable starvation
But not the starve of love,
Or the attention we all care
But death
Death above all else, but not his own.
Alone
Cowardice
Paradox

An unanswered question to the ridicule he has created.
Questions, Questions, Questions
Through Dramatic speculation
And increasing personifation
Do I dare talk to Trees?
If only I, rooted so firmly n place
So sure, and safe
But silent and always thinking
The shadows casting out beneath a leafy canopy.

The atmosphere had shifted in weight
Growing black and heavy it had become night
To tired to sleep, to sleepy to dream.
"dreams"
how they circulate and moderate the air around us.
The crickets loud as machines,
Fusing and creaking as their rusty legs
Now sprang to life with tune.
Drought, Despair, unhealthy inhabitants
Separating all of what's loved
From all that truly matters
But did they ever matter?
Contemplative
Inescapable
Narrsistic

An unholy ghost in such a life full and thriving place
And this could be home, this could be happiness
Withering leaves as tough as his own hide
To rhino-listic for comprehension
So wild and unkempt
"the cur"
But silent and always thinking
The shadows casting out, beneath his leafy canopy.
