Well, it's pretty hard to say what makes a good photo. It could be the light, to catch something in the right moment, etc. And if they are good or not, it's really individual, like all other art.
If you like your photos, I'm sure someone else will like them.

The un-noticed things is what makes picture beautiful, things that normal people would walk by everyday and not pay any attention to it whatsoever, than you show them a picture and it's a jaw-drop reaction.

Lot of things. A good picture is not set up. A good picture is taken on the spot. Be it the sunlight breaking through a shrub of leaves, a group of children laughing while spraying each other with a hose, or a picture of an Iraq soldier petting a cat. You can never expect a good picture to happen. It just does. A good photographer knows exactly when.
