eh.. of course they're not emo. lolz

I think they're a great band.I like Fever a bit better though. I didn't like Pretty odd barely at all the first time i heard it, but then i listened to it again and loved it. They're my favorite band, although my taste in music has been changing a little bit. Also, it doesn't hurt that brendon and ryan are gorgeous.

I love Panic! At The Disco!
But it makes me sad that they removed the "!" from their name

i read it on Buzznet that the band smokes weed. and Pretty.Odd. is, more likely, the product of it.

i still like them! saw them twice and met them (brendon called me little miss giggles lol)

Well, weed would kind of explain why they went back to nature so to speak in Pretty. Odd. However, most would argue that they'd be more likely trying to get lucky with their female fan-base than writing songs while high.

As for my thoughts on Panic, I like them, a lot. Their lyrics are pretty speccy and even if they weren't, who cares, Brendon Urie is delivering them, they're amazing in any sense.

Pretty. Odd. didn't suck in my opinion, they just matured as a band. Just because they matured into a band that is 40 years old doesn't make a difference, it was an epic sound in the 60's and it can be an epic sound here today.

Top songs would have to be, Build God, Then We'll Talk, Mad As Rabbits, Time to Dance (the 4:10 version, the 3:22 version that was released on the album completely annihilates what was an epic song) and There's a Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Thought of It Yet. However, for their best live song I'd have to say Lying Is the Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off. Ryan adds some amazing guitar solo that makes the song feel complete on so many different levels.

Edit: I've had to edit this post about a dozen times because I'm listening to my Panic at the Disco collection now and every time I hear a new song I feel that deserves going in my favourite song list and I replace a previous selection otherwise it would look like I've listed an album. I'll leave it as it is now, if I change it anymore I'll end up giving up and listing their entire discography.

i didnt say it sucked, i was just surprised that these young lads would smoke such thing. and for the fact that i look up to them as my role model in the music field. theyre still awesome!
i love Northern Downpour a lot and the video. thats my current fave from Pretty.Odd.
Time To Dance also, i love how brendon played it acoustically with us (the crowd) doing all the synth parts during the intro and screaming 'wedding' while he screamed 'shotgun' haha

He did that at our concert too haha, I must say, it was perhaps one of the best concerts I've been to. They had great supporting acts, The Academy Is... and Cobra Starship. Amazing night.

I saw them on teh Honda Civic tour. They were SICK. Best concert ever, and they were with Motion City Soundtrack. kinda completed my life XD

tbh, their new album took some getting used to. Theres no synth or anything and its more of a beatlesy sound. but it was still good (:

I love their second album as much as the first. But really the lyrics of many of the songs in Pretty.Odd are most likely high songs.

I won't cut my beard and I won't change my hair
It grows like fancy flowers but it grows nowhere
My hair, my hair

If I could build my house just like the Trojan horse
I'd put a statue of myself upon the shelf
Of course, of course, of course

She's the smoke
She's dancin' fancy pirouettes
Swan diving off of the deep end
Of my tragic cigarette
She's steam
Laughing on the windowpanes
The never-ending swaying haze
Oh, that ever smiling maze
Oh, that ever smiling maze
Ballet

XD
You're so pretty when you're unfaithful to me
