labyrinthitis (balance disorder) , that i keep getting most of the time.
i get extremelly dizzy with it, so dizzy i have to lay down or i feel nauseous and very spaced out. also my balance gets affected and i walk like i'm very drunk or like bouncing when i walk.
plus my vision goes all dream like/surreal/trippy/extremelly spaced out when i have it.
and i sometimes get terrible fatigue and lethargy with it, where i don't feel like doing anything and lack energy to do anything.
also mild earache on my left side...
and can only lie on my back or left side in bed. lying on my left side makes me the less dizzy.
sometimes it lasts hours, sometimes days, occassionally weeks. but always keeps coming back randomly
and had this shittttttttt since 2005 when i had a severe inner ear infection and had it for 8 weeks of this hell.
but strangely enough i've had much more frequent labyrinthitis attacks this year.
the doctors are fucking useless all they give me is prochlorperazine which makes me less dizzy and kills the nausea off. but i can't drink on that medicine, and not sure if it's good to be on that most of the time.
wish the bastard doctors would refer me to an ear nose and throat specialist to have it investigated properly, i hateeeeee the useless NHS pricks and their slow waiting times too.
anyone suffer with this shit? it's extremelly stressfull and horrible to have and as i get it so much nowadays, my life is starting to suck.
labyrinthitis, anyone alse has this truelly awful problem?

Yeah...I'd just find a good Ear nose and throat (mouth) doctor....and make an appointment.
After all..this sounds pretty tough. And even if they can't help you, it's worth a try.
Hope you get better!

My mum has it.. shes had it for a few years now... its such a horrible illness.
Sucks that you have it..
for my mum it just comes and goes randomly as for how long it lasts n such.. seems to be brought on by stress from what ive seen..
Even so, i dont know if there is anything they can do about other than some drug.. if you find something out please say; im sure my mum would be interested

thx for the kind words... =)
will have to keep trying my best to get it sorted out, if it means changing doctors surgery, i'll do that.
also i got suspected epilepsy which adds to me feeling awful. which is random too.
but is not like classic epilepsy, i don't go unconscious with it. and only my upper body and head violently jerks when i have it , as well as other symptoms.
had an MRI, EEG and blood test and waiting the results of that now...

Try other Doctors, sometimes you've gotta keep going to different ones until you get results.

still don't know if i have epilepsy or not.....
and have been put on 300mg of Epilim (sodium valproate) twice daily just to be safe, so i hope that sorts it out....
but the MRI results came back normal, still waiting on the EEG and blood test results.

I think I've got a mild form of this. When I stand up, I get like, superfucked vision, almost like a tunnel. The edges are like, fuzzy purple-y. Then I get hit with a feeling of almost vertigo and my legs buckle. Sometimes I pass out too. I had scans and stuff, and they said I'm normal.

I get dizzy a lot of the times.
But that's 'cause I have low blood pressure.
But still, I understand what you're going through.
I'm sorry. :\

I'm sorry I met you darling,
I'm sorry I met you.

I'm sorry I met you darling,
I'm sorry I left you.
