Eee me. Well i was 7 and my nan died which made me so upset i started feeling depressed, then my brother got hit by a car *witnesed it all* and my dad was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. THEN my mother went into hospital with heart problems so i then got depressed and i was paranoid. I started writing sad poetry and dressing in dark colour and such ..
When my grandad died i started selfharming (about 2 years ago) Of course ive stopped doing it now and im a perfectly happy person. I was also abused in one way .. whih i dont want to go into which also made me depressed.
So i decided togo to a councellor and sort myself out, i saw a phsycologist and my self harming stopped too.

So emo.. is in the past for me . i just stick around for you guys and the music

i turned emo a while ago when i was going through loads of bad things in my life,cutting and not eating and just basiccaly in a really bad place, and i started dressing and listening to music that macthed how i felt inside........kinda started from there really

my gf dumped me then i started cutting myself then she went out with my best mate and yer things got worse from then

Interesting stories, I must say.

Well it all started for me when...huh, my grandad died, then some of my cough friends cough started treating me quite differently from the others just cause I didn't want to do the crazy things they were doing and eventually it concluded to a few self-harm moments but now I live with rainbows and unicorns (which i fear) inside of me.

I found out once I started randomly humping anything black

I'm a gossip queen and I found out when I was about 13 that the emos get the best gossip, so I osmosised into the group to get my gossip, liked the style and such, and stayed. :]

well i turned into emo because the only friend i had was emo .......my prents always played wih i was with 6 years in youth home and with 13 out there the worst 7 years of my life i still hate em and i cant talk with people in real life so thats how i show my whole person

You don't "become" emo. It's a genre of music. The personality was derived from the genre. So, in other words, if you just out of no where become emo, you're a poser.
