Emo hair does not have to be black
My advice is to print out a picture of a nice hairstyle you want (search for them here or at www.photobucket.com >> emo hair) and hand it to your hairdresser. It might not turn out excactly like in the pic, but if the hairdresser knows what he/she is doing, it will probably be close. Or, ask for a lot of layers.

I don't know what your hair looks like now, but you need to cut it in layers, especially the fringe and the hair at the sides. Then straighten it, put some wax in, tease it and finish with hairspray.

Liner and an earthtone shadow would love good until you can develop what you like a little more. Add cute hair clippies, bows, or headbands. Look at the Cute Emo Girls album and borrow things and ideas you like. necklaces and bracelets always rock.

I just have a little question. I can't tease my hair ... I need to cut it, so I know that I don't have the best hair for it, but I used a comb and hairspray, and my hair was completely straightened. I might be doing something wrong right there. I had to wet my hair just to get all that hairspray out. I lifted a peice of hair up and sprayed under it.

Your hair looks like it's been cut straight , so yeah, layer and razor cut it to make the ends look better (mkay, my english sucks.) I think your lenght now is good, maybe a little shorter (like 2 cm or something). Styling is the most difficult part, heh. Straighten it and have (spray) wax in it and then tease. I think the only way to know how to style your hair is to try and try and try, you know? (:

Simple answer darling.
Change the part of your hair *if its in a fohawk still*
instead of having your hair go up in the middle
try and have it go to one side. Your going to having to grow it out.
but luckily for you, you wont have to cut wait for it to grow cut wait for it to grow
because the sides are already shorter then the top. Its just a matter of time. and
giving yourself choppy bangs. I wouldnt suggest going black though, because
personally I think that would wash your out a bit, at least when you have short hair
thats a thing i suggest to alot of males dont dye your hair black unless its at least past your lips
