My friend keeps on saying she wants to kill herself over this guy that she loves but she dosen't think he loves her back. Its been like a month now. And on Myspace she keeps on posting these bulletins saying, "guess what? i'm going to make everyone's life happier. i'm going to kill myself.' and her mood headline always says "R.I.P (here name here.) I keep on trying to give her advice but she dosen't listen. I'm really really scared that one day she really will kill herself. What should I do?

Tell her to stop being an attention whore.
It sounds to me like attention is all she really wants.

Seriously, you need to tke her hand tight and tell her you love her million, and your going to be there for her forever, shes just got to wait for the right guy, as painful as it seems right now to just watch th person she 'loves' float around without knowing her existence is, she just has to wait. It sounds as if shes been through a pretty tough time, she needs ot see a doctor, a councellor and a phsycologist, somone needs to get inside her mind and find out why she feels this way so much. Oh by teh way, how is she thinking of killing herself (like the method)? If she selfharms, tell her to flick her arm with a rubber band or squeze an ice cube (really helped me ... phsycologist tip ) She does need to grow up and think about her future, she sems very mixed up, your gong to have to be there for her and be her stability.

I would talk her out of it. It always works with my friend,and I would tell her to go see a counceler.

give it to her and tell her parents just
so they can keep a watchful eye on her
and place her in thearphy....maybe she dosen't
need a boyfriend...tell her that cause she can't
handle the ups and downs.

I hate it when people say over and over again that they're gonna kill themselves. So I try to be gentle, but blunt.
My response would be something along these lines, "If you're gonna kill yourself, man up and do it or shut up about it. I love you indefinitely but this is getting old. If he says he loves you and hasn't done anything to make you doubt it, believe him. If he doesn't say he loves you, ask. But remember that you have people that love you and by killing yourself, you hurt those closest to you, including this boy who might love you and myself."
