I'm not sure if this is the right forum to put this but I'm hoping it is =]

I'd like to get very bright grey/blue color contacts and I have no idea where to get them.
Do they come in perscription too?
Anyone who knows anything about them.

Yes.
Colored contacts come in both prescription & non - prescription.
If you wanted very bright grey-blue colored ones, you could use a brand called Fresh Look.
They may work well for some & not for others. So if one brand doesn't work for you, try another. (:

you can get them from a pharmacy, or an eye doctor lol. But if you have problem with your eyes, i dont know how you call it in english lol, its better if you dont get them.. cos i used to have coloured contacts and the doctor said that i could get blind cos i have that problem with my eyes. But if your eyes are fine, you can get them. =]

Theyre really expensive though and only last about a week before you have to get rid of em. Idk if thats true for all contact brands but it is for the ones that i had to choose from.

I have contacts that i can leave in for a month at a time (theyre called Nite and Days) and I still only get a month or two before i gotta throw em away and get a new pair.

Howd you manage to keep the same set for a year though?

I want contacts now dammit. My eye doc has them at his office in prescription and non. I want colored ones too. My eyes actually change in dif light, it would be nice to have one.

You should NEVER wear contacts longer than they are supposed to be worn (one day, two weeks or a month, it depends on what kind you use). There are a lot of nasty things there who can damage your eyes badly.

If you want any contacts whatsoever, coloured or not, go to the optician (sp?). They know everything you'll need to know, they look at your eyes to see if you can wear contacts (not everyone can), they try the contacts in so they fit you and they also know how long you can keep them in before you need to change.

agreed, most contatcs rather mess up the eye, rather then making it pretty
if your gonna get contacts best to know how to wear them properly and how to take it off properly

yeah, but those contacts were for a year, i didnt wear them purposely for a year lol.

sorry but I find that hard to believe that you had the same pair for a year.

There are none on the market that are supposed to go that long, eventually they would have screwed up your eyes, its just not natural to use the same pair for over a year, especially considering most of them dont last for more than a month or two.

umm. yeah that's pretty bad! i hope they weren't soft contacts, cus those are monthly ones( hard ones last half a year i do beleive?)

I would advise you to not get the coloured contacts. I saw that you have dark brown eyes, and why would you want to change that? Also, you have coloured skin. Bright blue/grey contacts just wouldn't look good/right.(my personal opinion though)
They're also very expensive for coloured prescription ones.

If you don't need contacts, then don't get them.They can be a pain in the ass to have to take care of.Trust me i have them, but i could never go back to *shudders* glasses.
