Tell your mother the plain and simple truth: Emo is a genre of music.

emo is the music, scene is the fashion

Ok i've heard some stupid shit in my life but this takes the cake. If your own mother can't accept you for who you are then fuck her. It pisses me off when parents treat kids like dogs.

Yeah. I guess you have a point. But still you know what i mean. Parents always treat kids wrong.

The hell?

There are plenty of kids with great parents, and I seriously doubt you are not one of them.

I'm well aware of that. But like a lot of kids have good parents a lot of kids have horible parents. Yes my parents treat me fine but we're not talking about me are we?

Please note that you said, "Parents always treat kids wrong". Unfortunately, it's hard to know when someone is exaggerating or not when it comes to these things, since a lot of kids on this board really do believe that. In the future, I suggest you be more careful when wording your sentences.

Dude Your Mom Sounds Like A Bitch!... No Offense. If My Mom Didn't Accept Me For Who I Am, Well, I Wouldn't Care Really. But I Would Prolly Act Like Total Emo Sterotype Around Her Just To Piss Her Off. XD
Rawr- :noun. Dinosaur For I Love You!!!

I don't know if you've ever felt like that. That you wanted to sleep for a thousand years, or just not exist, or just not be aware that you do exist, or something like that. I think wanting that is very morbid, but I want it when I get like this. That's why I'm trying not to think. I just want it all to stop spinning.

Dude that really sucks. Sad

Just because you dress, act, or look a certain way doesn't mean your not "walking in the light of the lord". I mean doesn't it say somewhere in the bible "thou shall not judge"? But I agree with everyone else you gotta talk to her. Like try having a really long discution with her (sorry if I didn't spell disction right i cant spell worth a crap). If she trys to change the subject dont let her. Maybe sense she prints out stuff for you to read all the time you could do some research and print out stuff for her to read to prove your point, And a meeting with your pastor?!?! thats crazy. If talking to her doesn't work then maybe meeting with your pastor might benafit you. If you have a one on one conversation with him maybe he might be on your side and calm your mom down and she'll leave you alone.

hmmm, i think you should talk to your mom face to face about the whole problem, i know it sounds troublemsome but maybe its the only way to stop all this stuff she is doing to you.

i kind of know how it feels, my mom is always talking to me about how i should spend more time on how others think of me. but like not in a mean way, she say's she doesnt want me looking like a freak..
