I think this is completely ridiculous, and I hope it doesn't go into effect. How do you ban 'emos' from schools? You can ban the music (though not efficiently or successfully) but how do you enforce a ban on an ambiguous style that even emos and scene kids can't define? "Your shirt can only be this tight", "Your bangs can only be this long"?

The emo way of self expression isn't damaging anyone, despite what crazy, over concerned parents might say. Hannah Bond's death was a tragedy, but it seems as if people are ready to blame anyone except the parents. Certainly, emo musicians and people belonging to the subculture shouldn't have to suffer for it.
