i had a boyfriend for about a year and a half. we spoke through msn messenger and through phone. i live in new york city and he lives in florida near miami. we were so close. it was impossible to seperate us. we went through problems that typical couples go through. we completely trusted each other in every way. we loved each other so much, he had a ring that he was planning on engaging me with. we never met in real life. ever. i don't think i'll ever love someone as much i did to him.

then his parents found out about me.

they completely freaked out. they did a backround check on my dad's side of the family, then shut down every single way possible of contact towards me including cellphones, telephones, msn, aim, yahoo, myspace, internet. everything.thank god that before this happened, i gave him my current address.

we had so much fun together while it lasted. you just have to be extremely careful. this really and truthfully did happen. it was traumatic. especially since i've known him for so long.

however, it's best to keep it a secret from your friends because it's kind of strange to people who haven't experienced it, and they WILL make fun of you for it.

i speak entirely from experience. if you have any questions, you can message me. =]

Love is love.
And if your relationship is strong enough, long distance or not, things should work out..

I'm in a long distance relationship, things are working out amazing.. Believe it or not him and I are actually in love, more so than most.. and we're keeping it together really well. It all depends on if youre really dedicated to the relationship..Long distance relationships arent for some people, but for those who can handle them they can work Smile. Anyway its not like my parents approve, and nor do his but, luckily they havent gone physco on us or anything.. My friends just dont understand.. Neither do my parents so.. That makes it hard but honestly, he's all I truly care about.

My love lives in Kansas and I live in Cali so, its not like were halfway across the world from eachother anyway..

Uh yeah, reeeal long distance.

No, they usually do not work out. I was kind of with a guy who lives 9 hours away and I couldn't even stand it for 2 weeks. It's too hard not only knowing that you can't see them, but that you won't be able to see them for a long, long time.

they do work! i am currently in one now.... and we have never been more in love. the thing you gotta look at is.... do you really love each other? if the answer is yes.... it will work. the best part about them is you dont spend to much time together... and she can come see you. and thats the exiting thing. so just think about it.... if you really love her then it will work.

I say... you just go with it and see how it goes.. who knows?? you both might accidentally get hocked up with someone else.. or just stay in touch like 24/7 .... Confused although.. if you guys love each other to death... long distance shouldn't be a problem... Wink

It just depends on how much you trust one another and if you can stand not being with them physically.

the girl in mind would probably come over for a few weeks(posibbly a month) in the summer.

Do you think that its just right out, or do you think theres a possibility it might work?

i really have no idea im in one right now but i dont kno if im wasting my time or if it the right thing for me i really like him but i guess only time will tell
