Searching through my memories
Scrambling through the fights
I still don't have the answers
But the past is haunting me tonight
Pictures hang up on the wall
Dripping with cob webs
And smothered with dust
Walking through this house
I start to remember it all
I see the bare light buld burning
Even when its not
I smell the whiskey on your breath
And hear the anger in your voice
Your working late again
And say you don't know when you'll be back
I found another pack of cigarettes
But I won't tell mom and dad
They couldn't do anything anyway
And I can't take many more fights
When will this be over
Will I ever see normal again
Or will it be like this forever
The question that never ends
