Stuck... hair help?

I'd like to find a new hairstyle 'cause I'm getting tired of the one I have now... It's shoulder length, black, and sideswept bangs. My parents don't care what I do with my hair, but I can never think of anything... any suggestions?

If you post a picture of you so we can see what your hair and face shape look like, it's easier to give you advices 
otherwise, try search for 'emo hair', 'scene hair' or whatever on www.photobucket.com , and I'm sure you'll find anything you like.

Aha thanks again lol.
i got my hair cut and dyed yesterday. Found a cool lookin hairstyle on photobucket so now I have this sweepy bang type thing goin on and lots of layers. haha.
Does anybody know where I can buy good colors (like purples, blues, etc.) that actually look cool and stay in your hair for awhile? I don't know where to look... and the internet isn't exactly the greatest help. lol
