Going to get a new cell phone in August, but I'm on a really tight budget. Anyone have suggestions on what plan I should get or what type of phone I should get?

If you're living in Canada, they closed a deal last night or something that's going to encourage a lot of new competition into the market. I don't know any of the details but I do know this: there is going to be a raise in cell phone fees for a few months but after that everything is going to be both better (more quility, more features etc.) and cheaper. I would suggest holding out til that happens.

The Instinct by sprint seems like a sleek thing. It's basically an Iphone with more features. However, the new iPhone 3G will be speedy.

oh yea if you stall out for a little the new HTC Touch Diamond will be coming to sprint it kills the instinct and the iphone and the HTC Touch. not only is it faster with internet its a big buzz all over smartphone forums everywear.

If you arre tight on money you wish to get a prepaid phone. These are all over the us. Just go to drug store to get one. If you want a small plan att has a 450 min plan for $40 a month but with a ton of features. Or if you are super cheap. You could get a wifi skype phone and just buy extreamly low skype out mins.
