Is it possible to break up with someone without breaking their heart?

I've been toghether with this girl, lets call her Mia, for a little more then a year. Latly I've begun to feel like I don't love her anymore.. But at the same time I do still love her
Her and I both are moving away to different citys in 30 days (Cuz were going to different schools) and i've never been able to have a long distance relationship.

I've done stupid things too push her away from me (i've cheated). And even more stupid things too keep her with me.

I know that Mia loves me but I just don't anymore.
Shes my first real love and I've never broke up with someone before.
I dont want to break her heart but I can't be with her anymore.

Is it possible to Not break Mias heart?

The songs were good I'm just not looking for a good breakup song..
I'm just looking fore some advice on how to break up with her without breaking her heart too much and making her kill herself (she used to be suicidal)..

That does make things more difficult.
But sometimes you have to walk away and not look back. It might seem heartless, but sometimes its for the best, the cleaner the break, the faster it will heal.
Stick a bunch of songs (like I suggested) on a cd, and give them to her. Tell her how you feel. Then tell her that she can do much better than you, tell her anything you can think of (lie if you have to), to make her believe that there is someone better for her out there and that she just needs to find them. Tell her to listen to the cd when she goes to bed.

She will cry, she will be heartbroken, but she will get over it.

Thanks thats some good advice.
I've thought about it alot and I'll stay with her a bit more, so she has someone to talk to the first weeks or so when she starts at her new school. We've talked a bit about how hard it'll be to have a long distance relationship and I think she might understand when I do break up with her.

And she does deserve better then me. She deserves someone who doesn't act like a psyco and cheat

Im getting realy worried..

I have huge problems with getting the courage to break up with Mia..
All I've done so far is to not see her as much and not telling her "I love you"..

And oh I forgot, I talked with her about us moving away from eachother and said that maybe it'll be better if we aren't toghether. And she just texted me saying that she hates living and hates waking up in the morning..

I don't want her to die. But I just can't be with her anymore.
I just dont know what to do...

Yeah your probably right.

I just don't know how to tell Mia. I've thoght so much about what to say and how to say it that I didn't sleep for 4 days and forgot to eat almost two days..

She said 'no' and hung up the phone..

Just give her time. She'll get over it eventually. It's always hard for soemone to break up with you when you still love them. She'll be fine ^^
