How did I turn emo? Hmmm.....
Well one day a long time ago, when I was just known to be an athletic tomboy, I was slowly being converted to a somewhat prep. And I was happy.
Do you know why? Because I was close....so, so, close....
Close to their Queen Bee...the one who could let all my dreams come true. She was pretty, she was glittery, she was forgiving, and she was also a leprechaun. No joke, she was short and green and everything minus the beard (she waxed). It was amazing -- I had to read the entire prep-bible to just see her.
She sat on a thrown of teddy bears, a gucci purse by her side. She asked me what I desired. I paused.
Was i really Happy? How could I be happier?
and then I said, "I like this prep-stuff and all, but I always wanted to be a type of music -- something short, but full of emotion. I want to go to extremes."
then she nodded, pulled out her pepper spray, aimed it at me, and...POOF!!! I WAS EMO!!!
I've been shunned from then on from the preps for my angsty ways.

you either were always a scene kid that was highly emotional, or something hurt you so bad that you became extremely .

i first started being emo wen i was 12. i lost control kept doing drugs for a while and fking and the whole relationship things are just so depressing im so emo about it all. i cant find the time to not cry about it and not be all angsty and have emo hair and style. im just so emo enough that i listen to the music because i hate it not because its my life like all the posers. i mean the hardcore and all. i just cant stop making myself bleed. my life is a tradgedy and everyones making their sound better. its so deppressing. noone will never understand will they. this world is like out to get me. im famous for being so disgusted in it. i cant stop this cycle. emo is life dispite wat they say about it being a genre. a genre ok yeah who cares make a topic on it still doesn mean thats ONLY wot it means. posers anyways.om g im almost crying about it. wahhhhhhhhhhh oh that one girl said she was since age11 now that i think about it i was emo wen i was about 10... so i win

If you "turn" something..... doesnt that mean you were/are a poser?
I mean do we all just wake up one day and go, "hey, I want to be an emo!" and then go rush out and get an entirely new wardrobe? I think you either are something, or you aren't. You don't "turn emo" same as you dont "turn gay". You just start expressing it.
