Okay so i meet a girl and we started talking and just happened to get into a relationship...after awhile i started to love her alot...we were dating 8 months and she cheated on me with some preppy guy...after about a month or so i still loved her and her friends started alking to me about how she is so sorry for what she did and how depressed she got after it happened and since i ove her i got back with her...i think she really regrets it but now im super protective and am afraid of her being with ne other guys with me around...do you think that if someone has cheated on there boyfriend that they say they love is true love?

I think it can happen, and people do make mistakes, but don't give yourself away so easily to a cheater. If she has feelings for you, let her come to you. Make her work for you. Have her show you how much you matter to her before you make any judgement calls

No I don't think it's true love. Yes you should make her work for it after what she put you through.Why would she cheat on you if she says she loves you??Even if she was impaired by something that is still no excuse.Personally I think that when you love someone you should have no interest on anyone but that person and cheating obviously shows that the cheater is not ready to deserve that in return.

you're right to feel protective of her. but just stay aware, let her have contact with other guys if she wants to. and if you feel you need to talk about it with her, do. she should understand if she's truly sorry. and if she gets offended, then she probably would have hurt you even more later. (anyways, girls usually love it when guys open up to them) i mean you know her, i don't. but as long as you don't get too protective of her, i think it would be a good idea to talk to her about it.

she could be playing games. id just break it off.

the axact same thing happened to my best friend.
I told him to break up with him but he won't.
instead she broke up with him because she was "bored".
I seriously hate her.
the only reason why I told him to break up with him was because her apologize didn't seem genuine.
maybe it's different for you guys.
just sit down and talk to her about it.
if she doesn't seem commited, break up with her.

well were do i start. okay here gos. sorry that it happend for one. i know all to well. been thee done that.now back to what you wanted to know. to tell you the what i think. i would keep a eye on here. not saying dont trust her or anything. but see if she seems to be realy sorry. and you are a realy good man for forgiving her. that takes alout out of a prson. i got back with my old man after some time. but i had to mack sure that he was realy sorry. i still dont feel kinda scared about haveing him being around outher girls with me not there. so nope not just you..lol.. it well take time for you to trust her all the way agan. people do mass up. but dont think that and let her get away with everything. some people just dont care they did it once they well do it agan. sorry to have to tell you that. but not all are lie that. some see what they had and dont want to lose it ever agan. hope thats whats up at your end.just take it one day at a time is all i can say..good luck...

Everyone makes mistakes, you just need to learn from them.
I was with this guy, Jake, and I ended up cheating on him for the stupidest reason ever, and even though he forgave me and I learned from my mistake he still couldnt be with me.
and that brings me to the moral of my little story: Everyone deserves a second chance.
Mistakes happen, and you will have regrets.
But in the end, everyone really does deserve a seconds chance, and yes, you can really love someone but make a mistake, but if they love you just as much back or maybe even more they will forgive you, and give you another chance.

give her a second chance... she might be worth it.. i mean.. just try to forget this whole thing happened..both of you.. it might work out
