Okay,

The love of my life attempted suicide. Despite me begging him not too, despite all my tries.. He went ahead and made the choice to potentially leave me and destroy me beyond repair and tried to kill himself. I'm eternally grateful he didnt succeed, and now our relationship is back to normal.. But I just cant seem to get over the fact that I almost lost him forever.. And it haunts me still.. He's still alive and breathing and as thankful as I truly truly am for that, I just cant seem to get over the fact that I could have lost him.. I dont know what to do. Advice?
He's still a bit suicidal.. Ive been doing my best to help him and really be there for him. He's done the same for me, because I dont deny having attempted 3 times myself (overdoses). He's also still self-abusive, and it kills me inside when he hurts himself. It also kills me that Im the reason he does it.. He said its his punishment for when he hurts me or makes me sad.. Id also appreciate advice on what I can say to help his self abusive problems too.

my advice is not to dump him...because i think that would kill you even more on the inside...but talk to him. just sit down with him and tell him EXACTLY how you feel. get angry if you have to. it's just...with guys...and no offense to any of them, sometimes you just have to yell. because that will get it through their heads that you DON'T like what they're doing...

or...another option (and this is one that many people don't like) is to ask for help from someone...

As a 'thickheaded' guy, I have to say: wrong!
She's better off dumping him, because thats the only thing that will get through to him.

I do not think you should hold onto the relationship and leave your b/f. There are many reasons for this: 1) He isn't grateful of life since you are part of his, he doesn't deserve you. 2) He is basically making your life a living hell emotionally, because he hurts himself just to get your attention. 3) It seems like he makes every little situation into something bigger. i think if you dump him he will just try to kill himself again...DO NOT DO THAT!!!...be honest with him and tell him that he does hurt you sometimes but it hurts you way more when he hurts himslef over it

Leave him and tell him if he loves you and wants you back he has to live.
He won't kill himself if he loves you.
His flaw is that hes a suicidal idiot.
If you love him, leave him, its the best thing you can do for him.
