acceptation... ?

acceptation... ?

by tijmeh on 07-19-2008 12:08 pm

In the years that i have lived, i have made quite some friends.
since a few months i began to feel emo. i began to like the music, the clothing and i felt like shit some time. poser or not.
my friends doesn't know. i wear some emolike clothes and they know i listen the music, but when they ask if i'm emo i say: no i'm not a cutter! that's the point. ppl here seem to think that EVERY SINGLE emo cuts.

so the only thing that stops me from getting my hair done emo is that i am afraid to lose friends and i won't be accepted at my new school...

why are there so many haters? and what do you guys think?
maybe i should wait until i'm accepted and THEN do my hair..

yes i know this sounds so poser and i probly am.

but nexybby that's besides the point! lol since sometimes in real life even if you agree that emo is music and scene is fashion, no one else does so stating it in real life might get you nowhere

id say wait til ur accepted, then do your hair emo...just til ur pretty much safe and theyre used to you for any changes

kira, we are the kira, my name is kira, even your kira

don't make a sudden change in style, make small changes over time.

emo is the music, scene is the fashion

yeah, what he said. Also, acceptation isn't a word. Acceptance is, though.

I'm not going to pick on your spelling. English isn't your first language right? You still got your point across very well.

The real question is, does their appeptance really mean that much to you?
Are you willing to spend the rest of your life trying to make the people around you happy? Are you going to change just so that people will accept you?

If the answer is yes than I have nothing left to say,
If the answer is no then I would urge you to go ahead. Do your hair however you want. Listen to whatever music you want. Dress however you want.
What if it makes people presume you're a cutter? Let them think what they want. YOU know that you don't cut. And it's how we view ourselves that matters.
What's more important: For other people to like how you are or for you to be comfortable with yourself?
"The heart is a sleeping beauty, And love the only kiss it can't resist.
Even as eyes lay open wide, There is a heart that sleeps inside,
And it's to there you must be hastening, For all hearts dream"...

"They dream only of awakening".
